Frankie Anobile bio

Vegas Weekly Frankie coverFrankie Anobile is regarded as the Las Vegas nightlife pioneer; he continually sets trends by bringing new, creative ideas to the table.  Every venue Frankie has directed experienced their most success during his employment.  Having started the first management company in the city, his expertise has greatly influenced major hotels and other Las Vegas corporations to capitalize on his techniques to create their own success.  True Nightlife’s combined services to MGM Grand alone billed $2.5 million yearly for nearly a decade with over 200 workers.  Introducing many concepts that were produced, promoted, and hosted by True Nightlife, such as Studio 54’s Eden Night and Tabu Ultra Lounge, coining the worldwide definition of an “ultra lounge” and setting many standards found today in the world’s best nightclubs. Frankie consistently moves forward with every musical, technical and design trend as well as operational innovations.

Frankie Anobile’s resume reads like a historical documentation of the city’s nightlife evolution.  Presented with the Key to the City by Mayor Oscar Goodman for his achievements in nightlife, music and entertainment promotions.  Frankie has been largely responsible for opening the doors of Las Vegas Strip casinos to venture into nightclub operations since promoting his own hotel dance events in the 80’s through the power of his radio show (The Magic Mix).  It was the first mix show in the city and had a large following.  It was then that Frankie began proposing nightclubs to various casino presidents.  It was largely due to Frankie’s diligence and his “trial” outdoor dance event “Fahrenheit” that the MGM Grand finally dove in with the opening of Studio 54, the first nightclub in a casino on the Strip.  We now see one and sometimes two nightclubs in every major casino in Las Vegas and worldwide.

Frankie’s lifetime of achievements spans many aspects of entertainment – film, art, comedy, dance, and, of course, music.  Most operators of today’s nightlife either come from a background in the bar business, VIP Hosting or entry-level management positions.  Frankie’s background has been that of music.  The drummer turned DJ was the most accredited of all Las Vegas DJ’s during his spinning career.  His love for music still greatly motivates him.  His musical knowledge is unparalleled, from dance classics to present house music and all that falls between.  Presently Frankie is producing custom music formats for the City Center project as well as other casinos in and out of Las Vegas.  His recent production of Oh Mama Hey, a song he collaborated on with Grammy Award winning producer Chris Cox and Dance Music Diva Crystal Waters, hit #1 on the Billboard Dance chart for March 23, 2013 issue.

Frankie is now looking for the right opportunity to put his newest ideas in motion.  He has the right team, the right experience and the right approach.  The right time is now!
